A Typical Day

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO ON THE RETREAT:

Arrival day:

You will be met at the airport by one of the team who will transport you to the villa. Here you will be welcomed by the rest of the team, shown to your room and given a tour of the villa.
Evening meal will be a relaxed affair: cold buffet style – fresh salads, meats, cheese, humous and crusty bread. We will sit round the table with a glass of wine and relax and get to know each other.

Day 2:

8am – GOOD morning yoga – a 45 minute stretchy vinyasa style class to stretch the body out after your flight.

9am – breakfast – a typical breakfast will have porridge, a Selection of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruits, toast – freshly brewed coffee, juices and herbal teas.

11am – set off for a day at the beach and paddle board yoga. We will make packed lunches but you may want to take some cash with you as there are some cafes at the beach. Don’t forget the sun cream, beach towels and a hat!!!

5pm – head back to the villa for some down time before our evening meal.

8pm – Evening meal – king prawns, calamari, roasted vegetables ( if you don’t like shellfish – let us know we can make alternatives)

Day 3

8am – boxing yoga

9am – breakfast – as day 2

1130am – HIIT fitness session – if you want to sunbathe instead that’s fine – it’s your holiday!!

1pm – lunch – avocado, frittata and fresh salad.

Then an afternoon to relax, sunbathe, read a book snooze….

7.30pm – dinner – evening meal out a our favorite traditional Tenerife restaurant – the food is amazing, they don’t speak much English but that makes ordering all the more fun!!! Then back to the villa for some games, drinks and laughter.

Day 4

8am – deep stretch yoga

9am – breakfast

1030am – OPTIONAL – a day of trekking through breathtaking scenery, magical caves and tunnels to end up at a beautiful beach where you will rest and feast on a picnic. Then an exciting coastal paddle board experience with the paddleboard yoga team (supplement of 90 euros applies)

OR, a visit to the beautiful Rock pools with our team.

7.30pm – evening meal – a BBQ with sangria followed by lots of games on our beautiful roof terrace.

DAY 5

8am – vinyasa flow yoga

8.45am – 20 minute HIIT session

9.30am – breakfast

Then depending on flights, time to sunbathe and chill. Light lunch before heading to the airport

Warm clothing for the evening – it can get a bit chilly so a comfortable tracksuit, hoodie etc

Flip flops/sandals

You cannot walk easily to the local shops so if there are any items you would like us to purchase for you please let us know in advance – and they will be waiting for you when you arrive eg. Alcohol, any particular snacks that you can’t do without etc etc
